" I enjoyed this book soooo much! It was lighthearted, fast paced, super cute, kinda quirky, and very clean! I was a bit hesitant going into it, because I know absolutely nothing about Dungeons & Dragons, but it was all surprisingly easy to understand and very enjoyable! I liked both of the main characters, especially Nathan! He was such a cinnamon roll! Riley was a bit annoying in the very beginning, but it didn't take long for me to start liking her. Her father was a really nice character, and I enjoyed seeing her relationship with him evolve and become stronger. There were so many lovable side characters, and I loved the friend group/found family dynamics! The only character who really bothered me was Riley's mother. It felt like she was constantly trying to turn Riley against her father, or making Riley choose sides, which definitely bothered me. She did redeem herself slightly at the end, but not enough to make me like her. Other than that, this book was great! Gamer boy x theater girl, enemies to lovers, fake dating, forced proximity, found family, and slow burn! Even if you're not a D&D fan this book is still quite enjoyable, and definitely worth checking out!"
