"I’ve only read one other book by this author (Local Woman Missing) and I think I liked this one better. The beginning of the book is information heavy and I truly had no idea who to trust. I am familiar with hospital staff and protocols so I could relate to the FMC. The first twist got me good and then it kind of spiraled. I was definitely on the edge of my seat as the book came to its gripping conclusion however I felt the multiple external conflicts were excessive. "
"I love this author, but I actually quit reading this book. Way too many story lines and I didn’t feel connected to the characters… especially when the main character reveals this insane confession to someone she barely knows. It felt like the author was just trying to rush through another story line. It lost my interest after that. I rarely stop reading books. "
