"Such a hard book to review, but I’ll try! Although I have finished the book, I still have so many questions. The constant cliff hangers at every chapter makes you want to read more and more! "While the premise and plot were intriguing, I found the main character’s internal dialogue and the spoken dialogue of other characters to be a bit repetitive. Because of this, the characters felt a bit flat. The story also ends rather abruptly, which is great for a series but not so good for making this a book of standalone merit. I found myself wanting more from the writing and continually being underwhelmed. "
