"[Early copy from Netgalley. This doesn’t affect or influence my opinions or review.]
Though the story Jasinska spins is a slower one, her strength lies in complex, morally grey characters and plot twists you’ll never see coming. The slow-burn rivals to lovers romance isn’t the forefront of the story, but the pay-off is oh, so satisfying. Definitely pick this one up when it comes out on December 28! ✨"
"Don’t judge a book by its cover. <br/>The cover is lovely but the writing has fallen flat with no substance. I’m not going to be forced to like this book because the author decided to monopolize on the sexuality of teens. There was absolutely no imagination in this book. The romance was so stupid. The storyline of eating only Prince’s hearts to gain magic was stupid and just gross and disturbing. And it’s a shame because there’s obviously a need for the Polish demographic to be represented and the author ruined it with her trolling stereotypes."
