"im an autistic teen like the main character of this book. I liked how Christopher relates to animals rather than humans because I am the same way. I also liked how it was written, and I feel like maybe it is sad that this is probably the only book written in this exact way. I dont like some of the stereotypes that are reinforced here, but they are sometimes true, which is why they exist, I suppose. "

"as an autistic teen, i found this book somewhat relatable, although not entirely accurate. i could do without the savant trope, but other parts feel pretty real, particularly the disassociation between one's feelings and thoughts/logic, and the main character's inner voice. in all, read this book if you want, just don't expect every autistic individual to be similar to christopher."
