if i know i'm going to absolutely despise a film and i already didn't like the source material, would you say it's worth it to subject myself to it, just so i can say i know what i'm talking about when i compare it to other, better films? my completionist OCD is at war with itself, help.

i have the same tendency, but i’m entirely comfortable skipping this one. the trailer looked absolutely terrible, and the premise is… well.

I honestly don’t know anything about this book or movie but I heard uma thurman is in it so maybe it wouldn’t be a total waste of your time

I'm referring to Max's iteration called Titans. It's a gritty yet overly serious take to the point of being laughable take on the young superhero team, made up of former sidekicks. Well in the comics it has a rotating cast of members. That's beside the point though. Anyway on to my pure unfiltered hatred of the show. I put myself through 3 season of that hot garbo and attempted S4,couldn't bring myself to hate watch that l loaded diaper of a series any longer. I genuinely wanted to like but it's a bummer of a show 😕 I'd rather be subjected to endless Teen Titans Go 🤣🤣

I also hated this movie. I’d say hate-watch it with a friend, so you can at least get some enjoyment out of hating it.

If you have a friend who is as much of a hater as you, you can enjoy picking it apart. I did this with some friends, one of whom had read the book and three of whom hadn’t. I’m afraid me and the other friend who had read it annoyed the other ones because we kept comparing it to the book, but really— impossible not to. (I would be happy to bash it with you afterward if you watched it).
