Ryan This came out of nowhere for me, I didn’t know he was ill. He got his hooks in me while I was in college. I watched Mulholland Dr on DVD, a few years after it was released, and it was a mind blowing experience. I went through his back catalog, which just built up my fandom, and awaited his next release. It never really came. Inland Empire basically got no release and was almost impossible to see. He was never able to get financing for another film after that (even though Mulholland Dr was a huge success and he made it in his late 40s). RIP to a true 1 of 1.
