Road Master https://youtu.be/eVTXPUF4Oz4?si=D5iQf6FcUtwRxkg1 Not sure if this counts. But visually, it does all kinds of things for my imagination.

Brandon Reed Link isn't working. What's the song and performer?

Brandon Reed @road_master I bet, if that one was from a consistent influence. You should also check out the song I posted about, if you haven't already. It's absolutely fantastic.

Brandon Reed Local-to-me band Eleventyseven prompted the question when I heard their song Appalachian Wine for probably the 117th time. In it, they tell the story of Mother Earth and Father Time, their children Fire and Wind, and their relevant interactions with God to discuss the difficulties of being a parent to teenagers and adults. https://open.spotify.com/track/1EnzY9211lYp18HIbpBPWn?si=hzwDEZxnQvyfdirijC294A

Brandon Reed I can NOT tell you how terrified I was that no one was going to catch that joke, lol.

Nona Lisa It's pretty in-your-face, if you ask me. But I couldn't help but comment on it. 😁

Brandon Reed Michael Jackson's Thriller obviously had to be included. https://youtu.be/sOnqjkJTMaA?si=UvAk82DBQYNs8Hy2

David Rachau Blind Guardian's entire discography, basically. But specifically, the album Nightfall in Middle-Earth which is a concept album based on JRR Tolkien's The Silmarillion. They also have songs based on LotR and The Hobbit, not to mention Dragonlance Chronicles, Wheel of Time, Stephen King's The Tommyknockers, and many many more. https://youtu.be/Yx1PCWkOb3Y?si=NkSKaC47h7-NzD6C

Brandon Reed I knew at least one person would mention a power metal band, and I was hoping it'd be one I wasn't familiar with!

David Rachau I've been a metalhead since the early '80s. It's almost all I know. 🤣

David Rachau Jag Panzer's album, Thane to the Throne. Based on Macbeth. I finally understood Macbeth after listening to this album.

Brandon Reed The first track is incredible. I'm either going to rewatch the play or reread it before I listen to the rest of the album.

Brandon Reed I'm not a big Led Zeppelin fan, but I love how Robert Plant goes, "Gollum and Sauron stole my girl. Oh well. Ramble on."

Brandon Reed Same response as Lynyrd Skynyrd, lol. Love em. One of my first arena concerts was The Eagles, actually.

Nona Lisa Marcy Playground's A Cloak of Elvenkind...but it's meant to convey how we are invisible to people, like the cloak from D&D, but in the way that we feel like no one notices us or cares enough to notice us.
