Despite both having better reviews. Since it has more moments actually about the great mansion itself. It is also more fun. The new film can be too deep about loss to be as fun as it thinks it is. Also is too much about the characters than the mansion."

"Day one of Halloween spooky but not horror movies. I liked this a lot. There were laughs, there was tension, not too much fear. Perfect for people who don't like movies that are too spooky. I thought the ending was a little cringe though with the way Elizabeth's spirit went into (I forgot her name) the wife."
