"The animation style of this film was so beautiful and the entire movie, especially the score, was so calming. Even the character reactions to Ponyo were so chill. Like no one questioned or freaked out over the fact that this little girl used to be a fish or that she almost destroyed the world over her love for a little boy or that she had the most magical parents ever. They were just like “okay cool.” Honestly, it was just a purely sweet movie."
