"A well crafted, well acted movie based on the books by R.L. Stine. Jack Black is brilliant in his role of R.L. Stine, a recluse author who moved to a small suburb of (in the middle of nowhere) Delaware. Dylan Minnette (famous for 13 Reasons Why, Scream) is very effective as Zach, a teenager who moves in next door and meets the author’s daughter. After stumbling into Stine’s house, the adventures really ensue. A fun watch for audiences of all ages."
