Topic: Lightlark

Just finished lightlark and was super disappointed that Isla ended up with Oro. Anyone else feel that it should have been Grim? (Please don’t spoil the rest of the series)

Julz Well it is a love triangle so you never know where the next books will go. I would recommend to keep reading.

Courtney Keller I also was super disappointed with this book. The plot felt very forced and the character development was poor. I felt like it was missing real connection building with either guy, and then at the end she was like "Oh no I loved them both but this one wronged me, guess I'll choose the one I made laugh that one time."

Joy Agreed, we don’t see any of Isla’s feelings towards Oro and it’s confusing how she determines Grim’s deception is deeper than Oro’s manipulation. Grim did everything for Isla and for the sake of breaking the curses even though it meant his loss and somehow Oro is the hero?
